ATLANTA, GA, March 14, 2018: MyPorter, LLC is proud to announce a one-year sponsorship agreement with Atlanta Track Club, a nonprofit committed to creating an active and healthy Atlanta through world-class running and walking events, training programs, and community outreach activities throughout the metro Atlanta area.
MyPorter will be the Official Gear Check Partner for the 2018 Publix Georgia Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K in March; the 2018 PNC Atlanta 10 Miler & 5K in October; and the 2019 Resolution Run on New Year’s Day. The company will also have a presence at the 2018 Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon & 5K. As the Official Gear Check Partner, MyPorter will help support participating runners and walkers by providing storage and logistics expertise and infrastructure for on-site gear check during race day events.
“The Atlanta Track Club is the perfect partner for us as we continue to grow our business in metro Atlanta,” said John Foshee, Chief Marketing Officer at MyPorter. “Through this sponsorship, we’ll have the ability to communicate with thousands of local fitness enthusiasts and their families. As the Official Gear Check Partner, we have the perfect opportunity to show potential customers how MyPorter delivers effortless storage, with a full-service approach in which we do all the work – allowing our customers to reclaim their weekends and their space – at a lower cost than traditional storage. At MyPorter, we believe that weekends are for running – not for visiting a storage facility!”
“We are excited to partner with an organization founded in Atlanta and serving the metro area with a truly innovative solution for personal storage,” said Rich Kenah, Atlanta Track Club’s Executive Director. “Atlanta Track Club is all about motivating, inspiring, and engaging our community to enjoy a healthier lifestyle. Our partnership with MyPorter helps support this mission by giving consumers an option that will save them time, effort and money that can be better spent focusing on health, fitness, and fun! We look forward to working with the MyPorter team to engage with our members at our events and throughout the year.”
The partnership will kick off with the 2018 Publix Georgia Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K on Sunday, March 18. MyPorter will be present at number pick-up at the Hyatt Regency Friday and Saturday, and will be at Gear Check at Pemberton Place on Sunday. Participants will have the chance to win great prizes by guessing their finish times and engaging on social media in the MyPorter Challenge.
MyPorter was founded in Atlanta, GA to simplify the self-storage industry. Not self-storage, on-demand storage. We cut out the truck rentals, movers, and self-storage facilities that consumers have to juggle and instead combine all of those services into a single seamless storage experience for customers throughout metro Atlanta. Pickup is free, you pay only for the space you need, and your items are only a click away through our online photo inventory. Whether it’s a single item or your entire storage unit, we’ll get it back to you within 24 hours (even on weekends). All of this for less than the cost of a traditional storage unit.
